Chocolate! Peanut Butter! Cookies!

I love Peanut Butter Cookies and I love Chocolate...These Peanut Butter Cookies frosted with Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting are just the ticket to satisfy my sweet tooth. Thought I would share the cookie recipe with you all....


Peanut Butter Cookies
Makes about 3 dozen cookies

Ingredients:

1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Beat sugar, peanut butter, vanilla and egg on medium speed until creamy. Blend in flour and baking soda on low speed until well blended.

3. Shape dough into 1-1/4 inch balls. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten in crisscross pattern with tines of fork dipped in sugar.

4. Bake 6 to 9 minutes or until set. Cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool.
